Summer Lovin’ Blog Series: My Courtesan Studio Love Affair  Ok. So my life at Courtesan Studio began in April 2012 as a Social Media Intern. At the time, I was finishing up college in AZ so my entire Courtesan experience was conducted through phone/email. While I was well aware of the style and overall image that Courtesan conveyed- it wasn’t until I moved back to NY in May that I got the TRUE glamour girl experience.  Just to paint you a little picture- my 1st full day on site with Courtesan Studio consisted of a rooftop photo shoot with 200 balloons, models dripping in crystals, and Denise running around (heels and all) shouting, “I LOVE MY LIFE.” As she has stated repeatedly: everyone wants to be where the fun people are…and that statement could NOT be truer. The energy from that shoot was not only refreshing to be around—it was contagious. SO- my #1 lesson from Courtesan Studio- Be the source of that contagious feeling and everything else will fall into place. (This applies to all aspects of your life- relationships, work, friends, etc.)  Since that initial experience, I’ve received countless words of advice in terms of dating, my career life, and general fabulousness (including the “give the guy your email, not your phone number” rule… I’ve learned this one the hard way and am ignoring unwanted texts as I write this). However, one thing I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing, is the MAJOR love behind the brand. I’m not just referring to a love for sparkly things; I’mtalking 100% dedication. While Courtesan Studio advertises their designs for the ‘Glamour Girl on the go’- it’s inspiring to see just HOW true that notion is. Denise and Maja not only design for the Glam Girl- they live and breathe it 24-7 AND are fully confident that every girl can do it, too. Today their Glam Girl aura will be shared at W.i.P. NYC for their Harem Collection campaign launch with Collective Media. The Launch party will celebrate the entrepreneurial power of these fabulous ladies as well as raise money to find a cure for MS.
